Read that again carefully. # 1 has an ultraviolet light, which means it will to produce ozone (whether or not to disclose) and that's not what you want in your child's room. # 2 tells you how many square feet can be cleaned. No clean square feet an air filter .. clean the air volume in a room that is expressed in cubic feet. So throw like 300 is a big number, but actually makes no sense. Moreover, seems to have several filters that will need to be changed often. I bet it's plastic to boot! And throw plastic gas will only pollute the air that is trying to clean. I am including a great article on how to evaluate air filters for your account. I think if you follow the guidelines you will see that the unit you are looking simply does not hold. If you are going to put money to get the air in your child's room clean, then by God! You want to ensure that what you buy works
