20 years to keep secret is the devil

Is this a good basic deviled egg recipe?
Per every 6 boiled eggs (12 deviled eggs)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
This is a very basic recipe. Is it correct? I do not want to powder the tops with seasoning or anything.
instead of using mayonnaise and mustard, we use thousand island salad dressing, which gives a delicious flavor! it is my favorite! always a big hit because it’s non-traditional.
Okay, why are people dissing on my recipe? It is tasty and Southern cooking.
